Horizon Builders Promotes Sapiro To Business Development Manager

CROFTON, Md. – Oct. 26, 2008 –  Horizon Builders, one of the premier builders of architect-designed, custom residences in the Mid-Atlantic region, has promoted Susan Sapiro to the new position of Business Development Manager. 

In this role, Sapiro will be responsible for strengthening relationships with Horizon’s existing clients while expanding the company’s relationships with residential architects and interior designers throughout the region.

Sapiro brings more than 17 years of experience to her new post. She joined Horizon Builders as Project Coordinator in 1994 serving as a liaison between architects, owners and the operational side of the company. This involved orchestrating schedules, managing details and fine-tuning Horizon’s close-out process. Prior to joining Horizon, she was with the Diamond Group, Inc. an architectural/engineering firm, where she handled both marketing and construction management functions during her tenure.

A graduate of Catholic University in Washington, D.C., Sapiro holds a a master’s degree in engineering with a concentration in construction management as well as a bachelor’s degree in architecture.

“Susan’s years of construction management experience, her educational background, and her very personal style, ideally suit her for addressing the needs of architects and designers,” said Abe Sari, Vice President of Operations for Horizon. “Speaking the language is essential to earning the trust of the design teams that we work with.”
