Horizon Builders Promotes Savvy Methods for Selecting the
Appropriate Architect and Contractor

CROFTON, MD – September 12, 2009

WHAT:
Residential construction colleagues, George Fritz of Horizon Builders and Tim Clites of Barnes Vanze Architects, two D.C.-based building firms, led a valuable discussion on Saturday, September 12 about how individuals can effectively collaborate with both architects and contractors to successfully complete a residential project.

This free event was held at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) D.C. Chapter House in Washington D.C., and covered topics such as learning the particulars of selecting an appropriate architect and/or contractor to fit a residential project’s specific building requirements. In addition, listeners received advice related to understanding the design and construction process, as well as an introduction to a variety of resources meant to enable, and ease selection of, the most appropriate design and construction team.
