Partnership Between Muse Architects and Horizon Builders Results in a 2007 Grand Award in Remodeling Design Competition

CROFTON, MD – August 2, 2007 – Muse Architects, a Bethesda, Md.-based firm noted for its custom design work, and Horizon Builders, a Crofton, Md.-based builder of architect-designed residences, have won a Grand Award in the 2007 Remodeling Design Awards sponsored by Remodeling magazine and Marvin Windows.

The Remodeling Design Awards are presented annually to showcase the best in residential and light commercial remodeling across the country. This year a total of 240 entries were received, more than in any of the past six years. Out of these, a six-member jury of judges selected just 19 winners for recognition. The Muse/Horizon project, a private residence, received its Grand Award in the “whole-house over $500,000 category.” It was one of only four Grand Awards presented.

The awards will be presented during a ceremony at the Remodeling Show being held in Las Vegas, Oct. 10 – 12, 2007.
