Horizon Builders Win Land Conservation Award
CROFTON, MD – January 24, 2008 – Horizon Builders, Inc., which specializes in building architect-designed, custom residences in the Mid-Atlantic region, has been awarded a 2007 Land Conservation Award by the County of Fairfax, Virginia.
The Land Conservation Awards are presented annually by Fairfax County to recognize the efforts of developers, engineers and contractors who protect properties and natural resources from erosion, pollution run-off and stream sedimentation during the land development process. Horizon Builders received its award for the Rooney Residence in the "Infill Lot" category. The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Government Center Building in Fairfax on Jan. 18.
